It's so cold in Spain right now! We can't wait for the planting season to start up again in Spring!

“We must now agree on a binding review mechanism under international law, so that this century can credibly be called a century of decarbonisation.” - Angela Merkel

We like you. We hope you like us too!

Here’s a forest engineer helping to manage our land (thanks to Reforestum). These guys ensure that our native forest ecosystem is built up the right way, with a bunch of meticulous planning and know-how. They’re very good at it!

OK so we now own 60.37 m² of land which means we’re now capturing 10,730 kg of CO2 over a 25 year period. Carbonatic is almost carbon neutral!

We’ve made a new donation to Reforestum! And our land is expanding! More information a little later.

“We are in danger of destroying ourselves by our greed and stupidity. We cannot remain looking inwards at ourselves on a small and increasingly polluted and overcrowded planet” - Stephen Hawking

Trump really seems to fail to understand that our environment is as important as our economy. We have no idea why.

We had a good chance on the weekend to catch up with the news. Our thoughts go out to the migrants at the US border in Tijuana. Nobody should suffer wanting to seek asylum from their troubles with a country that needs a better president. Legal asylum, of course, but their plight should be heard.

One of the plant species on our land is the black pine, both natively and being reintroduced with our forest engineers. Native to Spain, these trees grow up to 55 metres tall and spread 40 feet wide! The trees can be long lived at up to 500 years old. Perfect for capturing carbon!

Here’s an update on our land in Picos de Europa, Spain. We now own 50.37m² of land and are capturing more than 8.9 tonnes of CO2 (that’s about two people’s yearly CO2 footprint). Here’s a pic of our forest called Genesis.

Climate change is real. And we’re doing what we can to help. We’ve partnered with Reforestum to calculate our network footprint and reduce our carbon emissions to zero. How? By buying land and planting trees. You can too! Check out, work out your carbon footprint and purchase your carbon reduction today.

Slow start to the week but we’re making good progress on Carbonatic’s Android app! Early tests are proving fruitful!

Have an amazing day and remember that you’re worth it. You’re on earth to do something big! So go and do it!

Greenhouse gases have reached their highest levels in over 3 to 5 million years at over 405 parts per million. When are we going to learn that greenhouse gases (most responsible for climate change) are going to affect us for centuries to come? Let’s embrace change.

Do we think climate change is real? For sure we do. The global scientific community widely agrees that the warming we are experiencing is man-made… We’re doing our bit to mitigate the effects of climate change.

Correction: it was 60 euros! Let's get Carbonatic carbon-neutral :charmander_dancing:

Update: I just spent another 30 euros on adding to our land in Spain, and we’re now reducing 8.954 tons of carbon emissions over 25 years! Yay! 8.697 more tonnes and Carbonatic will be carbon neutral for 2018.
